We are a small group of born again believers — riders, brothers, and friends — choosing to live our faith out loud through movement, connection, and service. Not behind walls. Not in silence. On the road, where life actually happens.
We ride motorcycles because they keep us honest.

This isn’t about religion or performance. It’s about relationship, redemption, and showing up where people are — especially the ones who feel overlooked, forgotten, or too far gone.

These little desert babies were found tucked into a corner of the world where no one was looking — until we showed up.
Underweight, crusty-eyed, and clinging to each other like family (because they are). They’ve got a long way to go, but they’re safe, fed, and already showing signs of that wild little sparkle we love so much.
We’ll be sharing their glow-up soon — but for now, welcome to the ride, little ones. You’re part of the Rezcue family now.
Get to Know Us
Desert Rezcue was built on one belief — nothing and no one is ever too far gone for redemption. What started with restoring old metal and forgotten machines quickly became something bigger: a mission to breathe life back into what the world has written off. At the heart of it is Robert “Gator” Shepherd — a lifelong Southwest rider, mechanic, and builder. Known for his grit, loyalty, and straight-up honesty, Gator brings everything back to life the same way he lives his own — with purpose, hard work, and no shortcuts.
Alongside him is Daughter and Best Friend Aspen, the heart behind the mission’s story and voice. She brings vision, connection, and the drive to turn lived experience into something that reaches people where they actually are — real, unfiltered, and human.
Together, they’ve built Desert Rezcue into more than a name. It’s a way of life:
Old metal. New life. Desert born. And now, that mission is expanding.
South Side of Heaven Ministries is a faith-driven extension of Desert Rezcue — carried forward by Gator, his closest brothers, Eric and Dan and a shared calling to live faith out loud. On motorcycles, on the road, and in real life. Same mission. Different wheels.
